Since I was a child, I have always been creative, I drew, croched small cloth parts for my dolls or to small twigs that I thought looked like little dolls and I was still a child when I began useing my mother's sewing machine and sewed the clothes for my dolls. I need the creative world, without it there would be many feelings inside my self I could not get rid of, feelings that come out in my art.
I was born in 1968 in Jutland, Denmark and with the exception of a few longer trips abroad, it is also where I grew up. I began the interest for making jewelry in the last years of the eighties, and in 1993 when I graduate my education as a tailor at the "Skrædderskolen" in Aarhus in Denmark, it was also what occupied me the most.
I had always sewn and thought that I completely mastered it, but now I learned the tailor profession from scratch, which I'm so happy for today. I do spend much of the knowledge in my doll making.
In 1995 I moved to Copenhagen for new challenges. And in the years farward the jewelry making and tailoring remained secondary jobs. My other creative activities was also put on hold a little over two births and a solid work in an enzyme research laboratory.
Several years later, at the spring of 2007 Sweden became, with my husband and children, my new home. My dream about working 100% with my creative abilities could then become an opportunity and has become a reality which I am very grateful for today.
I am curious about working with different materials and to explore the creative possibilities. On my website you will find a large part of my artwork and crafts that are for sale. If you browse on my blog, there is more inspiration to get, cause not everything gets in here.
I emphasize that everyone should have a good treatment and I am replieing to everyone whom contacts me. You are therefor always welcome to make contact.
I hope you find something you just can not live without.
Lots of greetings
